In a career that has allowed me great opportunities to receive commission to do commemorative artwork of great coaches and athletes, I feel a great sense of privilege in completing a work in which I am greatly fulfilled and honored. Coach Eddie Robinson's legacy has reached deep into the heart of every player and alumnus that he came into contact with and further into the lives and inspiration of men and women far from the campus of Grambling University. "Coach Rob" has accomplished and become an everlasting sense of hope and integrity to any and everyone who dares to look and listen to what God has used him to complete - a light that has shined in darkness and made a difference in the face of adversity.

Thank you Coach Rob for not surrendering to the temptations of surrender, and for demonstrating to us the fulfillment of the scripture "If a man is diligent in his business, he will stand great before men." Coach Robinson has been the very epitome of diligence and through his hard work and dedication, God has blessed him to stand before great men, the very men whom he has coached. God bless you Coach Robinson. I am honored that my children and grandchildren will be inspired by your great example of class and "Diligence."
